The Manhasset Soccer Club requires all coaches, coordinators and board members complete a review commonly referred to as Risk Management. This is done through an agency contracted by Eastern New York Youth Soccer.
Manhasset Soccer is not involved in the risk management review. Eastern New York Youth Soccer will never share the specific background check information with a league or club even if a coach is denied soccer privileges.
Eastern New York Youth Soccer wants to make sure a coach does not have a criminal record of violence or of endangering the welfare of a minor. The principal aim is to provide a reasonable level of safety and security for our players
The information requested on the Volunteer Disclosure Form is personal information. However, for Eastern New York Youth Soccer to be able to conduct a background check that reasonably assures accuracy and completeness, this information is required.
Click RISK MANAGEMENT and you will be brought to the website, register and complete the form. If you are accepted, you will receive an email within a day or two stating that you "have been accepted". This message must be printed out and submitted to the Risk Management Director Susie Royer at royer@optonline.net.
Eastern New York Youth Soccer will contact you if your background check reports either a criminal record or does not verify your personal information. During the time it takes to communicate with you to obtain the correct information, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCCER ACTIVITIES. Therefore, please CAREFULLY review the information you are submitting.
